AMMO-DRI™ Setup & Care Guide

Keep your ammunition and gear in peak condition by preventing moisture and corrosion. One AMMO-DRI unit protects up to 1.5 cubic feet of enclosed space.

1. Initial Setup

  • Unpack: Remove the micro-perforated shield pouch and the two (2) AMMO-TAB desiccant tiles from their foil packaging.
  • Load: Insert both AMMO-TAB tiles into the shield pouch.
  • Seal: Press the seal tightly to ensure the tiles are secure inside the pouch.

2. Placement

Place the loaded pouch inside your:

  • Ammo Cans
  • Pistol Cases
  • Range Bags
  • Small Safes

3. When to Reactivate

The tiles feature a built-in moisture indicator. Monitor the color through the perforated shield:

  • Blue: Active / Protecting
  • Pink: Saturated / Needs Reactivation

4. Reactivation Instructions

When the indicator turns Pink, follow these steps to "recharge" your tiles:

  1. Remove: Take the tiles out of the shield pouch.
  2. Prep: Place tiles on a paper towel inside a microwave.
  3. Heat: Set the microwave to 20% Power for 2 minutes.
  4. Cool: Let the tiles cool for 1 minute.
  5. Repeat: Continue heating in 1-minute intervals (at 20% power) until the tiles are firm and dry.
  6. Reload: Once cooled, return tiles to the shield pouch for continued use. (the indicator will return to Blue.)

Expert Tip: To maximize lifespan, ensure your ammo can or safe has a clean, tight seal. If the indicator turns pink within a few days, check the lid gaskets of your container for leaks.
